AMI HYDROGEN SULFIDE SENSOR REPLACEMENT

This procedure is for the replacement of the AMI Hydrogen Sulfide sensor to ensure precise and dependable monitoring of hydrogen sulfide levels.

    To seal the sensor, hand tight is normally all that is required. If more torque is needed, first purge, then remove the sensor, clean the mating surfaces in the pocket and the o-ring on the sensor with Isopropyl alcohol and a clean lint-free cloth. Add new lubrication, DuPont Molykote 55 O-Ring Grease or equivalent, to the sealing surface of the o-ring and reinstall. Once installed, wait for the reading from the sensor to fully stabilize in span gas – which can take 10-45 minutes, depending on flow rates a
