Monthly CTL inspection and pm

Tipper and hydraulic tank inspection

• Check fluid level and add if needed.

• Test functions of tipper.

• Inspect all hoses and report defects.

• Clean any debris under or around tipper.

CTL mandrel inspection

• Remove covers and inspect cylinder and hoses. Report defects.

• Check chain and lube if necessary.

• Test functions of mandrel.

• Grease all grease points.

• Inspect all bearings and report defects.

• Test functions of transfer cart.

Peeler Table Inspection

• Test functions of peeler table.

• Raise peeler table, support safely and clean under peeler table.

• Inspect all hoses and cylinders.

• Verify lights are working.

• Open gate and access CTL.

• Clean under CTL.

• Inspect chain and sprockets and lube all.

• Inspect all rollers and bearings.

• Drain all water filters.

CTL Head

• Inspect shear head for defects.

• Check all bolts and mark with a paint marker.

• Check for any air leaks.

• Grease all grease fittings on shear head.

• Inspect all bearings and note defects.

• Inspect all welds for cracks.

• Open drain cocks and check for water.

Exit Table

• Inspect the exit table.

• Raise and lower to check for defects.

• Remove all debris from under the table.

• Grease all fittings and report defects.

Inspect Drives for CTL

• Remove covers and inspect drives.

• Report and reset any active faults in drives.

• Ensure the air conditioner if cooling properly.

• Clean and replace filters.

• Blow dust from all electrical devices, computers, etc.
