How it works
Team members with access to Jira can easily submit a maintenance request ticket. The request will be routed automatically to MaintainX as a work order, and comments and progress can be tracked in both systems.
STEP 1:
Let your dedicated account representative know that you’d like to capture maintenance requests in Jira.
STEP 2:
A MaintainX integration consultant will configure the integration. You will need to create a new Project and Issue Type in Jira, so maintenance requests can be categorized.
STEP 3:
Determine the priority level for all maintenance request tickets: None, Low, Medium, or High.
STEP 4:
Test the integration with your team. Start developing internal training material to set your users up for success.
STEP 5:
Jira maintenance request tickets can now be submitted. Let your teams know that their requests will be routed directly to your maintenance department for review.
Requirements
- Must have a Jira plan.
