It’s no secret that today’s maintenance professionals are contending with the massive costs of aging infrastructure, skilled labor shortages, and equipment failures. Unplanned downtime alone costs businesses around $25,000 per hour on average, or more than $500,000 per hour for larger organizations. The pressure to figure out how to do more with less is on.

In the battle against these challenges, we’re proud to report that maintenance professionals who’ve adopted MaintainX consistently come out on top. In G2’s Winter 2024 reports—which rank software and help consumers make informed buying decisions based on user-submitted ratings—MaintainX was named the #1 computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and enterprise asset management (EAM) platform

MaintainX also earned 112 badges across 148 reports—a record-breaking achievement that demonstrates MaintainX’s leadership across multiple categories.

Overall, we earned a remarkable Leader score of 93 in the 2025 G2 Winter CMMS Grid Report, which offers a high-level picture of software performance based on market presence and customer satisfaction.

These results reveal how we’re tracking toward our goals to make your work more efficient and eliminate unplanned downtime. Read on for more on how MaintainX is making a measurable impact on users’ operations.

Delivering the #1 EAM and CMMS software

While traditional CMMS tools have stagnated, we’re continuing to redefine what’s possible for our customers across all markets. For the eighth quarter in a row, we’ve achieved the highest ratings in the CMMS space. We’re honored to also have been named the #1 EAM platform, boasting an exceptional G2 score of 83.

This dual recognition means we’re creating a holistic solution maintenance and operations professionals can count on as they scale. The flexibility to serve both large and small teams was a major reason Interoll, for example, chose to move away from its legacy maintenance management system and adopt MaintainX. While looking for a solution to suit their combination of large manufacturing facilities and smaller production lines, the company was drawn to our platform’s scalability and its power to support a variety of processes.

Setting the standard for customer satisfaction

We’re deeply committed to our customers’ success and are thrilled to have received a G2 Satisfaction score of 99—the highest Satisfaction score among CMMS products, with 100% of users rating us 4 or 5 stars.

Users are also confident about the future of the platform—97% believe MaintainX is headed in the right direction. Moreover, 96% of users indicated they would recommend us to others.

We’re inspired by the strategic ways maintenance professionals have implemented our product to profoundly improve their operations. Wauseon Machine, for example, used MaintainX to save $60,000 annually in parts costs and transform its approach to maintenance entirely, moving from a reactive model to a proactive system where 85% of maintenance tasks are planned.

The most innovative CMMS on the market

Our platform also leads the pack as the fastest-growing CMMS, earning a remarkable Momentum score of 90—the highest Momentum score in the industry by a wide margin. The Momentum Grid evaluates growth, social influence, and innovative strategies—areas where MaintainX consistently shines.

“We wanted a partner that would grow with us and, over the months or years of our partnership, provide continuous improvements and new features that would help us optimize maintenance operations." — Elisabetta Brunetti, Global IPS Director, Interoll

Implementation without the headaches

For Jarrod Kipp, Duracell's North America Product Supply Process Transformation Manager, ease of implementation and usability are what immediately drew his team to MaintainX. Duracell employees "started the trial and fell in love," Kipp recalled. “Moving to MaintainX was one of the smoothest integrations I've ever seen in my career.”

Kipp and his team aren’t alone in this sentiment, which is reflected in G2’s winter report. MaintainX dominates the Implementation Index, showcasing our unrivaled ability to deliver a fast, efficient, and hassle-free onboarding experience. With minimal downtime and rapid setup, our customers consistently see results from day one of adopting the platform.
