September has already been a big month for MaintainX customers, thanks to several new releases designed to boost efficiency and eliminate unplanned downtime.
Last week’s headlines were all about the beta launch of Asset Connect, a new cloud-based platform that connects machine builders—or Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)—directly with their customers.
And just a few days later, the release of Global Procedures unlocked new levels of compliance and standardization for multi-facility organizations.
Customers are also up-leveling their reliability programs with new asset hierarchy levels and insights.
Ready to learn more? Let’s take a look at the ways MaintainX has broken new ground over the past few weeks.
Access support and best practices directly from OEMs with MaintainX Asset Connect
MaintainX Asset Connect is a new platform that directly connects OEMs with their customers. It streamlines communication and provides easy access to all the information you need to keep your equipment running smoothly.
Asset Connect streamlines equipment setup and management by providing easy access to OEM-recommended PM plans, asset information, procedures, and parts lists. Thousands of digitized asset packages are available to MaintainX customers today—simply visit the Asset Hub, search for an asset, and install it to your MaintainX instance.
Additionally, Asset Connect enables you to send questions and service requests directly to the OEM without leaving the MaintainX app, ensuring swift and effective support when equipment issues arise.
To experience all the benefits of Asset Connect, join the early access beta program that’s open to OEMs, Distributors, and MaintainX customers. Get more information and request Beta access here.
Update SOPs in real-time across your organization with Global Procedures
Enforcing standards and best practices is key to increasing compliance and efficiency across multiple facilities. But without a single source of truth, it can be time-consuming at best—and impossible at worst.
Global Procedures makes it easier to standardize SOPs and checklists by allowing you to share Procedures across multiple MaintainX organizations—and update them in real-time. This minimizes risk by ensuring your technicians are following the most up-to-date instructions wherever they’re based.
Global Procedures is available to customers on the Enterprise plan.

Improve reliability with extended asset hierarchies and centralized insights
Our Assets module has been updated to enable multi-level asset hierarchies and embedded meter insights.
If you manage complex facilities or machines, you can now set up a multi-level hierarchy to help plan, execute, and track maintenance more precisely.
And, if your equipment has associated meters, those readings can be accessed directly from the Status & Meters page to help you make faster and smarter decisions.
MaintainX customers on the Premium plan can now add an additional sub-asset level to their hierarchy. Enterprise customers can enable up to five Sub-Asset levels in their Organization settings and more upon request.
Remember to be thoughtful when adding levels of hierarchy, since it has the potential to overcomplicate the experience for you and your technicians.

Rapid innovation, driven by your feedback
As always, customer feedback was at the heart of the many updates we made to our platform over the past month.
