School may be out, but maintenance doesn’t stop.
Summer shutdown can be a critical time of year for maintenance teams. And to help you make every second count, we’ve been hard at work to improve communication, request management, data input, and more, all within MaintainX.
Let’s take a glance at some of the updates we rolled out in June.
Catch Mistakes and Anomalies with AI
When you work with expensive machinery, you can’t afford to make mistakes or miss warning signs. Our new AI-powered Anomaly Detection, available on the Enterprise plan, lets technicians know immediately if they’ve entered a reading that looks unusual.
Using historical data from previous repeating Work Orders, Anomaly Detection spots number, amount, and meter values that contradict trends or fall outside of an expected range. It gives the technician an opportunity to check again, and either correct a mistake or create a corrective action to investigate the anomaly.
Anomaly Detection not only helps you to improve the quality of your data, but also reveals equipment issues that could result in downtime later.
Draft a Request on Mobile and Come Back to It Later
As you know, we started June strong by bringing an array of new collaboration tools to MaintainX. One of these was Request Routing, which allows requesters to speed up the approval process by assigning their Requests to specific teams.
To improve the experience for requesters using mobile devices, we also enabled a “draft” Request feature. As you’re typing out a Request, if you need to navigate away for a moment to check other information, you’ll no longer lose what you started.
Simply click the “New Request” button again, and MaintainX will ask if you want to pull up the draft you started previously or start a new Request from scratch.
Take Advantage of New Languages and API Capabilities
June was a great month for languages, as we improved our German translations following feedback from customers. Dutch, Italian, and Portuguese are now available in Beta, as we become increasingly global.
And, because integrations are critical to unlocking more value from your data and technology, we also made improvements to our REST API this month. We’ve added the Unit Cost to our Parts list endpoint. Using the API, you can also now mark a Custom Field as required.
These are just a few of the enhancements MaintainX brought to you in the past month, as always powered by the incredible feedback from our customers.
